Alongside the bounty of the region’s most famous fruit and wine grapes, this season is one of the most delicious times to travel to the area. Building on Truffle Month, Newberg and Dundee have partnered to present the new Truffle Trail in 2024, which includes lodging packages, decadent meals, wine pairings, and of course foraging excursions, all centered around the elusive truffle mushroom.

A Taste of Truffle – On Saturday, March 9th, the Newberg Downtown Coalition will present the first annual Taste of Truffle event, which will be held at the Chehalem Cultural Center. Expect a full day of tastings, vendors, and demonstrations dedicated to all things truffle.
More Stops on the Truffle Trail: Restaurants, cafes and wineries in Newberg, Dundee and surrounding areas in the Willamette Valley will feature truffles on their menus throughout truffle season. One that caught my eye: Wooden Heart Kitchen, the newly opened bistro in downtown Dundee, will feature an Oregon Truffle Pizza (olive oil, mozzarella, celery root, crispy cauliflower, camembert cheese, chives, shaved Oregon truffles) and a Truffle Ice Cream Sandwich.
