Meet the Innkeepers ~ Chehalem Ridge Bed and Breakfast

‘Hi! I’m Kristin. He’s Curt. We opened Chehalem Ridge B&B together in August 2007. I have a political science degree from Point Loma Nazarene University. I handle the B&B as my full-time job. Curt works in finance during the week and does the IT and much of the landscaping at the B&B on the weekends.

‘When I didn’t find the “right” job within the political science world, I pondered what I might do. I thought innkeeping sounded fun. Not having a starting place, I went back to school and got my culinary degree from (now defunct) Western Culinary Institute. When Curt & I got married, he thought having a B&B sounded like a good idea, too. So we started planning and looking for the right place in Oregon’s wine country and found this property’

Chehalem Ridge Bed & Breakfast sits atop Chehalem Mountain, overlooking the Willamette Valley. On weather-friendly mornings breakfast is served on the guest deck with great views of the town of Newberg, the vineyards and orchards.
