Lavender Fields in the Hood River Valley

With Mt Hood as a backdrop, the lavender farms of the Hood River Valley are nurtured with abundant sunshine and fertile soils and growers who take pride in producing their quality lavender products.  You’ll find serenity, be rejuvenated in the aromatic fields.

Hood River Lavender Farms offers quality products, exceptional views and vibrant gardens, and welcoming staff. During peak lavender season ask about U-Pick or stop by during harvest to see them distill their beautiful essential oils. Every Saturday and Sunday in July, celebrating the Annual Lavender Daze Festival with live music, local vendors, and of course lots of lavender!. Hood River Lavender Farms is conveniently located beside Stave & Stone Winery, which is only a 15 minute drive from downtown Hood River

Van Gogh Lavender is grown carefully for the finest blooms and harvested at our picturesque farm in Mount Hood, Oregon. Treat yourself or a loved one to the calming aromas and luxurious feel that only Van Gogh Lavender can provide.

Hope Ranch Lavender – Double mountain views in a field of lavender. Located just south of downtown Hood River, Hope Ranch Lavender is acres of sweet fragrance and tranquil beauty.

The Old Parkdale Inn is located in the Upper Hood River Valley on the north slope of Oregon’s tallest peak, Mt. Hood, in the quaint town of Parkdale. Outdoor adventure, lavender farms, wineries and fine dining are nearby. During harvest, guests can make a bouquet of fresh cut lavender from the bushes on the Inn’s grounds.

Lavender Blueberry Sorbet is a palette cleansing first course at the Old Parkdale Inn Bed and Breakfast, a dish produced from an explosion of Blueberries and Lavender in Oregon’s Hood River Valley. Ingredients

Both Lavender Farms are located on the Fruit Loop, a 35 mile driving tour through the Hood River valley.  Meandering the scenic back roads, with awe inspiring views of Mt Hood around every corner.   Visit family farms, wineries, and friendly communities. Over 15,000 acres of fruit trees are in full bloom from about mid April through mid May.

Each provides the hospitality and comforts not always found in hotels. After a hearty Northwest breakfast our innkeepers love to help you plan your day, whether it be hiking the forests that surround Mt Hood, tasting wines, searching for that perfect photo op or just relaxing at a serene location such as the Hood River Lavender fields.
