Stange Manor Inn
Stange Manor was built by timber baron August Stange for his family in 1924. The woodwork and architectual features are extraordinary and pay a tribute to August Stange's attention to detail in making this home a true masterpiece.
Some of the features that were built into this 1920's mansion are: central vacuum system, bathrooms for every bedroom, walk-in shower stall, hydraulic lift to bring fire wood from the basement to the main floor, a stage with lights and curtain, cedar lined closets throughout the house, and the use of many types of wood in the construction are but a few features that make Stange Manor a truely beautiful and facinating home.
Each of the guest bedrooms have a private bath, queen size beds, a great view, and are unique in layout and features. In the morning you will treated with an elegant full breakfast in the formal dining room. Breakfast consists of coffee, juices, homemade granola, scones & coffee cake, plus a main course which can be waffles, pancakes, omelets, eggs benedict, and French Toast to name a few.
We are situated on an acre of land with rose garden, flowers, fruit trees; located in a quiet residential neighborhood within walking distance of downtown, Eastern Oregon University, schools, and the hospital.
