A Barking Mad Farm Country B&B
It's all about the views and the great hospitality! (And the Buffalo herd next door and the baby foals and donkeys on our 42 acres). Horses and pets are welcome too!
Situated on Wallowa Valley's Alder Slope you can literally see for miles in all directions from the jagged cordillera of the Eagle Caps to the endless Zumwalt prairie and snow capped 7 Devils in Idaho, but you are only a short drive to Enterprise, the picturesque artists' community of Joseph and stunning Wallowa Lake.
In fact, you feel away from the world. BMF is very small, friendly, luxurious, and geared to making your stay perfect and unique. Each large, comfortable suite has some of the most amazing views in the country, a private bathroom, neat antiques, and beds with deep fluffy comforters.
Each morning starts with Diana's famous, adventurous, gourmet breakfast - usually served out on the deck with farm fresh eggs, our own asparagus, raspberries, strawberries (hint - beg for the blueberry waffles with lavender cream). Play a game of cowboy croquet, relax on the porch swing, explore the antique barn...or do absolutely nothing or find out if buffalo neigh or moo! Then join us for a glass of wine (extensive wine list available), or maybe Diana's British afternoon tea, or crumpets or...... every day is a delightful adventure when you Disappear For A While at Barking Mad Farm Country B&B.
