A Creekside Garden Inn
Each room in this Mt. Vernon Colonial replica of George Washington's house has a garden theme. Consider the Picket Fences room. This gracious view room overlooks the garden and features a fireplace, Queen bed, plus daybed, antique toys and a private bath. The four other upstairs rooms offer similiar themes. There are regular evening movie screenings complete with popcorn in the common room, where another fireplace invites the guests to linger. The extensive gardens offer guests an opportunity to stroll along historic Mill Creek or enjoy a round of croquet in the spacious backyard. Hazelnut waffles, crab cakes, and oatmeal custard are a few of the breakfast specialties. The inn is just two blocks from the Court-Chemeketa Historic District, and is centrally located for day trips to both The Oregon Garden and Silver Falls State Park.
